Pea – Kelvedon Wonder
This is a wrinkle-seeded variety which produces upto 8 peas per pod. It is a heavy cropping, dwalf variety, which grows to only 45cm. his is one of our favourite varieties which always produces a great crop, even when we have not staked it correctly.
Sow the seed from April onwards when the soil is warm. As well as sowing direct, they can also be sown in old guttering in the greenhouse for hardening off, and planting out to get an earlier crop. It is ideal for successional crops and germinates at 5 – 25C.
