This is a popular old variety that produces great yield of flat pods. They are ideal when picked young.
Sow the seed indoors from mid-April ready to plant after the last frost. They germinate best at temperatures of 16 -25C. The seed can been sown in situ form May onwards, with ideal spacing of 25cm x 75cm. To get a good harvest keep the plants well watered and feed on a regular basis. If you sow in situ, plant some extra seed to fill gaps.
